Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st of 1995 was born in Berkeley California. She is most famous as an actress who has appeared on screen in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a filmmaker as well as an actor family. She pursued both professions herself. The actress made her debut at the age of nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988, Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played the role of Cristina Comencini's Zoo. Next, in 1989 she portrayed Nanni Moretti's (also directed by Michele Soavi) child in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career really took off. The roles she played changed from young roles before becoming more mature. It was a huge success in the Cannes International Film Festival. The actress has produced three films with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera is her third film together with the director's father. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze demonstrated Asia's intense style that she exhibited in her acting. She played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. It was a character in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello prize as the most outstanding actress. In 1994 Asia began filmmaking and made two short films: Prospettive In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father, and in 1998, one on cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998), which received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her directorial debut as a feature film in 1999 with Scarlet Diva (2000). The film also featured her as the principal actor, as well as the writer of the film's script. The film released May 2000 both in Italy and across the rest the world. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it won a award at the Williamsburg film festival.
